Talk shows and movies for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

Broadcasting in 4 local TV stations (Jenin, Nablus, Tulkarem and Bethlehem)

Talk show about violence against women, including street interviews and interviews with specialists, were broadcasted three times during peak audience viewing time.

Broadcast of four documentaries, deepening debates about violence against women.
Broadcast of five spots with four sentences about violence against women, made by Suheir Farraj and evaluated by a specialist of women’ rights of the Media College in Bir Zeit.

The talk shows were a good way to evaluate the training needs on the technical level as well as on the specific subject of gender issues for media professionals. Through the making of these talk shows, TAM was being able to evaluate the motivation of local television to create quality programs and deepen knowledge about gender issues.
